From colleagues, to best friends to business owners…

Hi! We’re Georgia and Kyla, the proud owners of The Dog Spot. Our journey started as colleagues, but it wasn’t long before our shared love for dogs and passion for grooming turned us into best friends. Now, we’re so excited to be taking the next step together as business owners. We’ve spent years working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and we believe every dog deserves to be treated with kindness, patience, and genuine care. That’s why creating a calm, welcoming experience for both you and your dog is at the heart of everything we do.

We’re fully qualified dog groomers and fully trained in canine first aid, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe hands. When we opened The Dog Spot, our goal was simple: to provide high-quality grooming at a price that’s fair and affordable, without ever compromising on care or attention to detail. We can’t wait to welcome you and your four-legged friend to The Dog Spot!

Meet Georgia

I’m originally from a small village in West Yorkshire and made the move to London seven years ago. Growing up surrounded by dogs meant my love for them started from a young age, and it’s a big part of what inspired me to become a dog groomer.

One of my favourite parts of the job is getting to know every dog that comes through the door, as well as having a chat and building relationships with their owners. No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly what I love about it.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me listening to music and adding to my ever-growing record collection. I’m often referred to as the human Shazam because I can usually name a song within the first few seconds! I’m also a huge Taylor Swift fan (I’d happily argue I’m one of her biggest!), love getting lost in a good fantasy novel, enjoy playing video games, and spending time with the people closest to me.

Meet Kyla

I’ve grown up with spaniels my whole life, so dog hair has basically been part of my wardrobe since day one. I started my journey in dog grooming at just 15, and I’ve loved every minute of it since.

I love meeting new people, making dogs look and feel their best, and winning over the occasional diva who insists the hairdryer is the enemy.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me wandering around a car show, singing my heart out at a gig, or trying to convince myself that I definitely don’t need another coffee. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged best friend!
